Composting


IEM’s composting programs are designed to eliminate high volumes of organic food waste from a property’s waste stream. Food and other compostable products are collected from food courts and restaurants and transported to a composting facility where the organic materials are processed into compost.

Common organic materials include:
  • Food Waste
  • Landscape Trimmings
  • Paper Plates, Cups and Towels
  • Corrugated Boxes
  • Milk Cartons
